| I bought PORTAL 2 instead of MORTAL KOMBAT and SOCOM 4 when all were
released. As many of you know I played Portal 1. Unsurprisingly, I haven’t been
interested in the other games. This Game really stays true to the hype.
Graphics: This game has some of the best Source engine graphics I’ve ever seen. They
also have some good lighting in some areas. The darker the surrounding area,
the better the light seems. There is also a co-op mode that lets you take a
closer look inside Aperture. You can move around the rooms and check out every
detail of the companion cubes, etc.
Gameplay: Remember getting your ass kicked by the puzzles in Portal 1. Those puzzles
were freakin similar, but this Portal has much more varied puzzles, they don’t
span the same locations over and over. The new gameplay mechanics are also a
great improvement.
Lasting Appeal: Any fan of fps games will most likely fall in love with Portal
2. And the Hardcore Portal fans will just want to marry this game (not really
lol). There are many different modes to choose from. Test your analytical though
by yourself with a friend, hell I think there is an interactive trailer for
Super 8. The DLC mode offers about a 50
unlockables for co-op. You walk through an old Aperture science facility. Every
room contains a new puzzle. There are freakin so many! There are also menus
that let you start at another chapter, or let you hear director commentary.

NO FREEMAN?????? WTF? (might tie in in Episdoe 3, but come on Freeman is so bad
ass)
