| I bought L.A. NOIRE.As many of you know i am a ROCKSTAR fanatic.Yet this L.A. NOIRE has kept me away from it a bit. This Game really stays true to the hype.
Graphics: This game has some of the best character models ive ever seen. They also are layered in certain areas. The more you EXAMINE a guys leg,the more his CLUES and stuff show. There is also a DETECTIVE mode that lets you take a closer look at the characters. You can move the camera and check out every detail of their clothing, etc.
Gameplay: Remember getting your ass kicked by AI in GRAND THEFT AUTO 4,or RED DEAD REDEMPTION.That AI was a freakin cheater, but this L.A. NOIRE has much more realistic AI,they dont spam the same CRIME or CLUE over and over.DETECTIVING is also much improved
Lasting Appeal: Any fan of 1940s DETECTIVE games will most likey fall in love with L.A. NOIRE.And the Hardcore ROCKSTAR fans will just want to marry this game (not really lol) There are many different modes to choose from. Test your Skill,Might,Strength, hell i think there are 3 more Test your's. The DETECTIVE mode offers about a SEVERAL CLUES.You walk thru a CRIME SCENE.Every CRIME SCENE kontains(wtf?) an CLUE.There are freakin SEVERAL! There are also modes that let you customize DETECTIVE rules,or let you EXAMINE armless, headless,or on one leg.
L4ZYSOL Rating :9.8/10
CONS: NO NIKO BELLIC OR JOHN MARSTON?????? WTF? (might be future dlc,but cmon NIKO BELLIC AND JOHN MARSTON was badass)

| .............-_- Anyways....there is still a $20 credit being offered by Amazon if you purchase the game from them. Also, is it actually worth it SOL? I already plan on getting inFamous 2 and this would be a quick shot to my bank account with me just getting Brink. |

| I really haven't played it enough to give a true opinion on it yet. But the facial animation is miles ahead of any other game out there. Its like having nearly real faces on gta bodies, so its a little weird. Its definitely pushing towards the uncanny valley. Its a slow paced game so if you have ADHD you are gonna get bored pretty quickly. Its not nearly as action oriented as other games. Its more puzzles and clues than firefights. Best description I can come up with is True Crime: Streets of LA meets Heavy Rain. |
